Facebook rolls out online courses for journalists

As tools like Facebook Live allow journalists to reach greater audiences, the social media platform is now rolling out more training to help journalists better use them.

Facebook announced last week that it was making free online courses available to journalists.

According to a post from Facebook’s media office, the training combines best practices and guidelines from Facebook with case studies from journalism using the tools.

One of the first trainings released was one on Facebook Live, which you can watch here. To enroll in courses, go to Facebook’s Blueprint training website.
