The strategic alliance will deliver Bleacher Report’s high-quality sports content to GateHouse Media’s websites and offer a rich blend of game coverage, commentary and multimedia content. Bleacher Report’s professional and college sports content will be featured on more than 300 GateHouse Media websites.

“Bleacher Report provides fans with the most comprehensive experience around teams and topics that they are passionate about,” said Brian Grey, CEO of Bleacher Report. “Teaming up with GateHouse Media made perfect sense by aligning our in-depth sports coverage on a local level with one of the country’s largest local media publishers.”

The co-branded content will be customized by region, to provide readers, who are hungry for specific hometown teams, quick access to that content. GateHouse Media also plans to use Bleacher Report content in the pages of their print publications.

“We’re extremely excited about teaming up with Bleacher Report,” said Mike Reed, CEO of GateHouse Media. “Our readers live and breathe sports content and our coverage of local sports combined with Bleacher Reports national sports offering will enhance our overall sports coverage to our readers and offer targeted advertising opportunities in this important category.”
